Hang-on They are an accelerator
I noticed that there is no option to select a button to accelerate

That would be UP, you can assign it to a button.
I haven't tried that option. I'll try it. Thanks
No It doesn't work. I configure the joystick etc. but it only moves right and left... what seems strange to me is that it is always slightly accelerating but it is not a controller problem.
Did you configure the joystick in both the main MiSTer menu as well as within the core?
Just double-checked and can confirm-
Hang-On Limited Edition is a button assignment
Hang-On Jr. is set to whatever you assign to UP
Super Hang-On is a button assignment

If it is configured, all other games work normally... I have the feeling that it is a core error because it starts accelerating to 70kms (it varies) I have the files from an installation from 0
Does it start accelerated? Or if you don't accelerate the bike is stopped? Why does the game start accelerated even when the controls are disconnected etc.
I press payer 1 and the bike is already accelerating 70+- (variable) reacting left and right but it does not accelerate. .. the core restorer is working and the controls are configured correctly without problems
Clean installation with updates update all
Specifically which Hang-On are you trying to play?
https://youtu.be/z24P1XaOTjM?feature=shared It does not accelerate, it does not brake... maybe the version you download the update is defective
Are you able to run update_all? If the core is out of date I think that would update it
Mine starts the same way but pressing up on my joystick accelerates.
What happens in Super Hang-On or Hang-On Limited?
Hang On Jr is not meant to be played with digital controls

Left and right are a paddle input and the accelerator is a pedal (motorcycle throttle). If you have a paddle and pedal you can set them up in the input menu (osd). Otherwise use analog x and y to control it. You can test the inputs in the hang on jr service menu.
