Arcade games, which romset?

For the installed arcade core, what is the best mame set to use? I do see a lot of my favourite games missing in the existing list!

There isn't an all-encompassing "arcade core", arcade games are ported individually based on the hardware they were originally run on. Each core will require a specific ROM or set of ROMs.
The easiest method to install the arcade cores is via update_all. Please take the time to read through the documentation here; things work a little differently to software emulators you may be accustomed to but there are plenty of good guides on YouTube.
I don’t know if it means anything but the MRA files have a romset tag
