My understanding is that the modes specified on these options are meant to apply when the core is outputting ntsc/pal, is that right?
How does the mister know that it’s meant to be ntsc or pal? Is there a way for the core to explicitly tell the mister that it is meant to be outputting ntsc vs pal, or does the mister look at the video timing that the core is trying to output, figure out if it’s NTSC/pal, and override accordingly?
