Hey folks,
I got a mister last week and it has been awesome so far. Especially enjoying the SNES core, so thank you to the developers for your hard work and dedication.
I apologize in advance if this has already been addressed somewhere, but I was wondering if there are issues with running certain romhacks that use SA1. I tested a few Super Mario World romhacks that happen to use the SA1 that seem to crash after loading. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this or would be able to try these and see if you also see similar results.
Version SNES_20240919.rbf
The roms I tested were
- super mario world SA1 pack (https://github.com/VitorVilela7/SMW-SA1-Pack/releases)
- super mario world 30th anniversary edition (https://mega.nz/file/y6BCAA5A#RMHaL_giT ... kkkzHxYsdA)
- six pack (https://www.smwcentral.net/?p=section&a ... s&id=35347)
Even a few non-hacks were having issues:
- Super Mario RPG, game crashes after walking into first castle
Additionally, is this related to the same limitation mentioned in this comment regarding the SRAM required to run these kinds of roms
Code: Select all

Edit: one interesting thing I forgot to mention is that the "six pack" rom seems to work on the Analogue Pocket core, which I believe is port of the Mister core leading me to think maybe this issue is something borked with my installation
UPDATE November 22, 2024 at 8:45:07 PM CST
In case anyone else runs into this issue, it appears to be fixed on the latest unstable nightly release posted here (SNES_ss_20241109.rbf)
