I've got 2 CPC 464 monitors in the attic & was thinking they'd probably be pretty good displays for the MiSTer.
I see plenty of guides on connecting an Amstrad to a TV's scart, RGB or even VGA monitors. I see nothing about using a CPC monitor with RGB/VGA out though. I haven't researched this thoroughly, I just wondered if anyone has tried it, knows how to do it or has any suggestions.
I have a 14" CRT TV too, but I remember (possibly wrongly) the CPC monitors being better quality displays.

you just need the pinout and then make an adapter from 6 pin to vga
will give you nice 15k picture but no sound

Thanks. I have a set of speakers for the MiSTer anyway as it's connected to a VGA monitor. I'm hoping it'll be better quality than an old TV.Brettster wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 9:40 pm you just need the pinout and then make an adapter from 6 pin to vga
